I tie the no shorts and flip flops into the same category as "no gentleman wears short sleeve oxford shirts. Even if it's under a suit!" My father taught me that and I live by the rule. Also linen pants are a great summer alternative to shorts!

Donatella Versace basically fulfills every stereotype of a European designer and they contradict each other with the whole past present bit. But I digress. I will say it's cool for H&M to work with brands such as the house of Versace because it brings what people call Luxury brands to everyday consumers.

I've been slacking with Wealth Society! It's been a busy past few weeks for me so I haven't posted anything. I'm hitting almost a year to the day that I graduated from college a year ago and a lot has changed. I've made great strides in the past year and it's been a great journey so far in my post grad life. One thing that you may have noticed Martians is that I RARELY post what is considered "street wear" anymore. My personal style has changed immensely and much of what is deemed cool or dope is boring to me. Gone are my days of viewing G-Shocks, Jordans,"insert popular t-shirt" and jeans as my style essentials. I've chosen a more timeless and adult look so to speak. This is in no way bashing streetwear or people that wear snapbacks and pow! chains, but I can say that's not my steez anymore. When teenagers consistenty asked me where I got everything I was wearing when I was in college it was cool. But as a true adult and a gentleman I have elected a more "gentleman" look. It's hard to explain but when I look in my closet full of a bathing ape and bbc tees and boxes upon boxes of Jordans and have 0 desire to wear anything...thats a problem. Every morning you wake up and get dressed what you put on should say something about the tye of person you are.

What it is Martians?! Pictured above is the first of it's kind. A camera capable of shootig HD video while taking 16 megapixel pictures at the same time! Pretty dope I must say. In the age of our phones doubling as our camcorders it's nice to see that you can be able to shoot HD video and shoot great pictures at the same time. I'm looking for a camera like this so hopefully a review will come in the near future. Usually when you get something like this, the camera is lacking behind a regular digital camera or the video is lacking behind an average HD camcorder so we'll see Martians.

Dangers of Artificial Sweetners

What it is Martians?! So I was at starbucks and got a green tea. I don't normally go to places like starbucks and D&D's but what I noticed was the obsecene amount of artifical sweetners they offer. I'm most definitely one of those people that is very paricular about what they eat and it's wild to me that people so freely use artifical sweetenrs. Items like splenda & sweet n low are bad news Martians!!! Processed white sugar isn't good for you either but at the very least it's real unlike these artifical poison like alternatives. Brown sugar is the best sugar for you to eat but I won't get into that. Artifical sweeteners have been linked to things like cell damage, weight gain, and depression. But most people still use it I can see someone drinking a diet soda everytime I go out smh. So with all that being said, SAY NO TO ARTIFICAL SWEETENRS. A better alternative to sweet n low when you get your morning coffee is raw sugar or s"ugar in the raw" as it is known by in the little brown containers you may or may not have seen. It is sugar that comes from sugar cane and is minimally processed. It's harder to get but you have to put pressure on local businesses and you should be able to get it at local health food stores. The last thing I would like to point out is a recent study I saw that linked artifical sweetners to strokes!
